Unable to access Settings menu, Power menu

What is the problem?
When I click on the wrench icon, the settings overlay doesn't appear, but a thin grey bar appears near the right scrollbar, moving everything on the page a few pixels to the left. A similar thing happens when I try to select Reboot System or Restart OctoPrint from the power menu; the overlay with the confirmation button does not appear, and the grey bar appears by the scrollbar instead.
What did you already try to solve it?
Rebooted the Pi, restarted OctoPrint, refreshed the page (necessary once the grey bar appears), restarted the browser, rebooted the computer. I cannot "Restart in Safe Mode" because the confirmation button isn't available.
Additional information about your setup (OctoPrint version, OctoPi version, printer, firmware, octoprint.log, serial.log or output on terminal tab, ...)
OctoPrint 1.3.9 running on OctoPi 0.13.0
Firefox 62.0.2-1 on Ubuntu 18.04

Does it behave in Safe Mode?

Have you tried another browser?

I had some issues with the settings button a few days ago but they went away when a new safari update appeared.

so now i couldn't reproduce it :-/

but in general i use chrome based web browsers for octoprint because they work the best.

  • F12 and open the developer console, see if there's any errors
  • Temporarily disable any ad blockers or popup blockers or javascript disablers (or whitelist octoprint's url)
