Update to Octopi to 0.18

What is the problem?

I have followed the update instructions for both pi imager and manual
but both when I open octoprint it still shows 0.17
I am putting the SD card into pi and turning on is there something else I need to do to make it update - sorry if this is just a Noob question

What did you already try to solve it?

Repeated instructions several times

Have you used a adapter for micro SD to normal size?
These sometimes have a write protection lever.

Hi thanks for reply i wiped the sd card and it appears to be writing to it! Can you do the same connecting laptop to pi with usb?
