sorry for the dumb question, but its says to update to 1.9.3 but the link takes me to the page with all the specs of the update but no link to actually download it and install, what am i missing?

If you open Software Update settings and select force check for update you should get a prompt that has an upgrade button.

No worries. It's pretty common for the announcement to come out before software update's local cache expires, but usually the next day you get that upgrade prompt normally.
