Using Raspi cam causes issues like printer disconnects

My config

  • Raspberry Pi 4B
  • Ender 3 v2
  • OctoPrint 1.6.1
  • Official Raspberry cam v2 connected with ribbon connector

My problem
Using the raspi cam with plug and play config can cause random printer disconnects/communication timeouts after several minutes or even hours leading to failed prints. Disconnecting the cam from the pi stops this behaviour und no more disconnects occur.

Is this an known issue?

Does your Pi ever have any undervoltage/overheating issues? Uploading the log files may help us to find out the cause of the issues. You can find the systeminfo bundle which has everything needed already in one download.
