Webcam does not work some times

Camera model Amcrest AWC201-B

What is the problem?
From a cold start when i power up the printer and raspberry pi the camera will in 1 out of 2 times not connect, on octoprint it just says webcam stream loading and the LED lights on the camera will not light up.
The camera lights will be on just until the point of where the octodash screen for the rasbperry pi will load up.
If i turn all off, wait and turn it back on, sometimes after a few times the camera will work. If the camera is working it stays working. If i leave it powered on it is fine, this issue happens after all has been turned off and it powered back on.

What did you already try to solve it?
I have tried a powered USB hub which the camera uses seperatley. It has a 1 amp power supply exclusively for the camera. Would like to be able to understand if there is an error log somewhere telling me why the camera shuts down during the boot up process.

Additional information about your setup (OctoPrint version, OctoPi version, ...)

Octoprint Version 1.7.2
Raspberry PI 4, 4gb with touch screen running octo dash. Running through the officail raspberry pi power supply.
Webcam uses a powered usb hub
Also have octopod app on phone.

We had a few people with similar problems.

Try to restart the webcam server via ssh the next time this issue occurs:

sudo systemclt restart webcamd

If that works we can automate it and restart the cam 30 seconds (for example) after boot

Sorry for the very late reply, had not needed it in a while but took a go at using that command, this is what it says

There's a typo there, it should be systemctl, ie. sudo systemctl restart webcamd.
