What is the output of lsusb

how do i check that. the only usb is my printer I am using a Pi Cam

This error is a catch-all for saying 'tried to get some data from the camera, and it didn't provide anything'. The output of lsusb and/or dmesg would probably be useful to see if there's errors reported by the USB hardware, the camera itself etc.

Both are commands you can run via the terminal, through SSH or a connected keyboard and monitor setup.
