Zoom for USB Webcam

Hi,

Playing round with switching from a Pi Cam on, obviously - a Pi to USB webcam (Brio 500) on a docker install. Printer works, webcam works but want to be able to permanently zoom in.

I was thinking a MJPEG streamer option, but can't find detail on that arguement.

I've searched around bumping into posts about octopi.txt and know there is more functionality in new camera stack - but the version I'm using (TrueNAS Scale docker) hasn't taken on that yet.

Tried out the the 'Camera Settings' plugin but didn't give me the zoom functionality. I've got 'WebcamExtras' installed now and that gives me a magnifying glass to punch in... but it's not ideal as it only holds the zoom level whilst hovering in the camera window.

Any guidance or suggestions?

For this is on cameras, please use the correct subforum Get Help Webcams

That makes sense, I just used the same place as the last article I read on a similar subject asking for help was posted. moved.

As long the cameras supports manual zoom, you can find it at:
OctoPrint Settings -> Plugins -> Camera Settings

That does indeed work, the problem was when I was scrolling the outer pane - not the inner one.
