1.9.0 troubles with updated octoprint

I'm currently w/o a printer, kiauh trying to update a two trees sp-5's mks-robin-nano-v3.1 card with dfu-util bricked it. totally. Got tools ordered to make room for an octopus, also ordered, expected tom.

But the few hours in front of that, I had updated to 1.9.0, temps window worked fine, but the control window was solid black, and the gcode viewer wouldn't, showing only the grid and no data about the file selected was ever shown. Terminal seemed to work, and I don't have a camera for it. So while putting in the octopus, mainsail and moonraker are being configured.
