After 0.16.0 install, possible to add a Raspian desktop without messing everything up??

I sometimes do that.

See the second bullet point in the Overview section. The ~/scripts folder has the one you're looking for. I seem to recall that you need to run this with sudo.

Note that the PIXEL/Desktop/X11 windows system uses up some of your RAM, GPU memory and processing power.

You can, though, then add VNC from sudo raspi-config and then remote control the Pi like this, which is probably the most compelling reason to add the Desktop.
