Can't Software Update: Network error while checking for update

What is the problem?

Printing over octoprint suddenly stopped during printing, second time i tried it also stopped.
In OctoPrint Setttings -> Software Update I see the following message at all software and plugins:
Network error while checking for update, please check the logs

What did you already try to solve it?

Can't upload more than 4mb, while the zip is 10mb
