Ender 3 temps not showing While idle

What is the problem?

The temps on the ender 3 Say 0c when not printing.
When it is printing it shows lives temps.
The second it stops printing the live temp stops

What did you already try to solve it?

Not much i am quite a noob

Complete Logs

octoprint.log, serial.log or output on terminal tab at a minimum, browser error console if UI issue ... no logs, no support! Not log excerpts, complete logs.)

Sadly it is for the ender 3 v2 i just have the normal ender 3.
Could it be because i am using marlin 0.0.5

But it's the same error that occurs

It's more of a creality firmware thing. We had the same problem with different creality printers.

Are you really sure you're running Marlin 0.0.5? I'm not even sure if they released that version.
The oldest version I was able to find is 1.0.0.beta1 from 2011

It is not just for the Ender 3 V2. Please read the full thread - I have the same temperature reporting on my brand new Ender 3 Pro and the solution works for me.

Yep Clicked on about printer.

And it says may 38th 2020

I'm pretty sure they mean some kind of creality firmware version 0.0.5 with a more or less up to date marlin.
It wouldn't make much sense to build a 10 year old alpha firmware in 2020 :smiley:
