My rasberrypi is not connecting to my ender 3

I have an ender 3 I used it for 3months. I wanted to try octopi I installed it but when I tried to connect my rassbety pi with an micro usb cable the octopi my raspberry pi did not see it I need help . Is it becuse of a cable i am useing

Hello @nickthepro523 !

A lot of USB cables are for charging only. They do not have the wires for data transfer.
And you can't see from the outside if they have or not.

You may try different cables

You also may try wit/without SD card in the printer's SD card slot
