Octoprint Homing ignores endstop

What is the problem?

Installed Octoprint v1.7.2 Octopi 0.18.0 - Raspberry 4B Endeer 3 v2 firmware v1.0.4
Severe and repeated banging against endstop when homing X or Z axis until "Kill" (M112) issued by Pi4B
So a print never starts and manual sending G28 from terminal shows the same problem

What did you already try to solve it?

No issues when homing with Repetier or Cura. Printing from SDcard, Cura and Repetier all OK
Here's the code from the terminal---

Recv: T:23.09 /0.00 B:22.50 /0.00 @:0 B@:0
Send: G91
Recv: ok
Send: G28 X0 Y0
Recv: T:23.05 /0.00 B:22.50 /0.00 @:0 B@:0
Recv: echo:busy: processing
Printer seems to support the busy protocol, will adjust timeouts and set busy interval accordingly
Recv: T:23.12 /0.00 B:22.50 /0.00 @:0 B@:0
Recv: echo:busy: processing
Recv: T:23.12 /0.00 B:22.50 /0.00 @:0 B@:0
Recv: echo:busy: processing
Recv: T:23.12 /0.00 B:22.54 /0.00 @:0 B@:0
Recv: echo:busy: processing
Recv: Error:Printer halted. kill() called!
Changing monitoring state from "Operational" to "Error"
Send: M112
Send: N2 M11235
Send: N3 M104 T0 S0
34
Send: N4 M140 S0*97
Changing monitoring state from "Error" to "Offline after error"
Connection closed, closing down monitor

Have you tried running in safe mode?

Did running in safe mode solve the problem?
