The question was about the warning on the pi, not "what can I replace it with"

That solved my problem. Now I can update octoprint. I am way out of date.
I have tried many of the suggestions with no joy. Is it just the PI3 ? is PI or 5 better with power? (maybe I need to read more)
Octoprint works fine for 4-5 years with symbols. I am a hobbyist and I honestly don't care, as long as I can print. The sneakernet works great for me too, if all the electronic wiss bang stuff goes haywire.. Thanks for the thread ...
