Printer starting and stopping creating blobs. "Communication timeout"

What is the problem?

Printer stops mid print every few seconds and then continues after a second creating blobs in print. Terminal warning for Communication timeout.

This problem did not exist a few days ago when i first downloaded and installed octopi. The problem started appearing yesterday.

What did you already try to solve it?

Trying 3 diffrent used usb cables and buing a new one, removing sd card, running octopi in safe mode, trying diffrent slicer.

No

I have raspberry pi 3b running octopi V1.8.6 downloaded a few days ago. The printer is a Voxelab Aquila X2 running standard firmware V5.1.3. The raspberry is located close to the printer in a room with good connection and no electronics nearby to create interferance.

Is there infromation missing to get help or does noone know anything that could fix this problem?

Maybe the holidays?

  • issues with your heating.
  • massive issues with octoeverywhere

Please avoid restarting the Pi by power cycling.
