Printer stops extruding

What is the problem?

Printer stops extruding during print from octoprint.

What did you already try to solve it?

Replacing cable with a newer one, restarting octoprint, reslicing the gcode

Have you tried running in safe mode?

Did running in safe mode solve the problem?

It still happened.

Systeminfo Bundle

You can download this in OctoPrint's System Information dialog ... no bundle, no support!)

Where do you get this?
*Found it (1.4 MB)

Additional information about your setup

OctoPrint version, OctoPi version, printer, firmware, browser, operating system, ... as much data as possible

Ender 3 with creality 4.2.7 silent board, custom firmware, running octo4a with many plugins, octoprint version 1.9.2

Hello @Masa_de_Man !

Hint: Blue words like systeminfo bundle / safe mode are links for more info.

OK, got it. (1.4 MB)

It prints fine when using the sd card, but it stops extruding after some time with octoprint.

I had a look on your octoprint log.

It looks qutie messy. A lot of error message from the system:

2023-09-20 06:17:02,699 - octoprint.util.comm - ERROR - Could not scan /dev for serial ports on the system
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/lib/python3.10/site-packages/octoprint/util/", line 211, in serialList
    with os.scandir("/dev") as it:
PermissionError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: '/dev'

and a ton of other errors

On a tiny side note I saw you run Octo4a.

Did it run before properly?

Yes, this issue only happens every now and then and with certain prints. Usually, reprinting or reslicing helps.

I did try looking for another topic about this, but the topic was closed before a solution was found.
