Problem with Prusaslicer after upgrade Octoprint to 1.11.6

After upgrading OctoPrint from 1.11.5 to 1.11.6, the Physical Printer view in PrusaSlicer 2.9.4 stopped working for me.

Previously, the Physical Printer tab loaded the OctoPrint GUI (embedded browser view), and it still works fine when accessed directly in a web browser. However, after the upgrade, PrusaSlicer gets stuck in an infinite loop showing “Connecting to OctoPrint”.

I tried:

  • Reinstalling PrusaSlicer
  • Deleting PrusaSlicer cache/configuration
  • Re-adding the physical printer

I can see the login prompt, and logging in appears to succeed, but after entering username and password it just shows an endless loading spinner and never reaches the GUI.

I tested this on a second printer as well. After upgrading that OctoPrint instance to 1.11.6, the same issue appeared. When I rolled back both instances to OctoPrint 1.11.5, the Physical Printer GUI in PrusaSlicer started working again.

Has anyone else experienced this issue, or can someone advise what might be causing it or what I might be doing wrong?
