[Solved] Ender 3 Serial connection issue

Octopi cannot connect to my Ender 3 through usb.
When trying to connect through octopi.local all settings are on auto for connection but reads out this error: " Error: Failed to autodetect serial port, please set it manually "

I have tried restarting the pi and the printer and unplugging the USB connection to the printer and its still not getting a connection

Hello @Brent_Johnston

Did you do this?

I am not sure if i am reading this right. Did you not link something?
I currently am still getting no serial port showing when plugged into the Ender 3 through the raspberry pi
I do have a pi 3 b+ and I am running the Th3d unified firmware with it. I do not know if that is causing an issue with the serial port connection.

[Solved] Under recent testing I had found that my 3d printed SD card/fan shroud was not allowing full connection with the raspi. sorry everyone I just goofed
