mine will not work but it think its because of something with the port. the rasberry pi and the printer are not talking and i tried to switch the cable but that did not work. if anyone else had this prolbem let me know please.
We could check if they pi communicates with the printer at all:
Log into your pi via ssh then disconnect your printer, connect it again, enter dmesg | tail -n 20
and post the output here.

not that much, you just have to establish the ssh connection in a different way

Ignore the first steps - ssh is already enabled on your pi.
You just need the part where you ssh into it
nvm i found the problem, i was using a power only micro usb, sorry for wasting your time. thanks for the help
