There was a sequence with a quite proper communication with the printer, but just quite.

There is a not stable communication to the printer, check for a goof, high quality and as short as possible USB cable. Als check for EMI source nearby.

Also, as this is a Creality printer, try with/without the SD card in the printer's SD card slot and also this:

First of all this whole tutorial isn't a mandatory mod - you just need it if you run into issues (weird things are happening and you've already ruled out the more common suspects) or if the always running fan and illuminated display (even when the printer is turned off) disturbes you.
