Logitech C270 Not working even if detected

Camera Model: Logitech C270

Once i've configured the octopi.txt file for my camera model, enable de camera interface in the rpi it does not show any image. Even if it shown in the lsusb output, it still does not work.

I tried check logs on /var/log/webcam.log, syslog and dmesg but it does not show any relevant information to help me solve the problem. I also modified the octopi.txt file with different configurations like specfiying a device, specifying different frame rates and the -y arg but nothing works (Followed the following supported cameras post).Any one can help me?

This looks like you've edited the octopi.txt on a Windows computer in something like notepad. If so, you need to use something that won't mangle the line endings, like notepad++.

So i edited it again with notepad++ and saved it but nothing changed. Just realiced that the \r is refered to the DOS newline encoding as specified in the following link.

Finally, after editing and saving the octopi.txt file with notepad++ and using the following commands through ssh i managed to have it working. Thank you so much for the reply @TTalkington !!
